Shipping

Outcast Surf Co.’s Online Store offers competitive shipping rates based on weight and package parameters. 

Surfboards, Skateboards and oversize, or bulky items do cost more.
We take extra care in boxing and packing our surfboards to ensure they arrive safe undamaged.  We add $150 in flat rate, domestic, shipping costs for boards, oversize, and bulky items.  This covers the $20 box and pack charge, and the actual cost of shipping and insurance.  If we can ship your item(s) for less than that, we will refund you the difference.

We strive to provide high value goods and services, including our shipping, at the best possible price.  For multiple board orders, we will contact you to determine best shipping options, but at checkout you will be charged individually.  It is usually less expensive to bundle items and we will work with our shipping agent to get the best rate that still ensures the safe delivery of your order.  We process any applicable shipping refunds within 2 days of shipping.

For customers outside mainland U.S., or for any specialty boards or orders where the cost of shipping will exceed $150, we will contact you directly with the price.  We will cancel any orders if the additional shipping charges are not approved and paid for.

Returns

Surfboards are NONREFUNDABLE and cannot be exchanged or returned.  If you have ANY questions please contact us directly before you order online.  Surfboards can ONLY be exchanged or returned for repair if they have been damaged in the shipping process.  Please see below…

International Orders are NONREFUNDABLE and NON-RETURNABLE.  The cost of shipping just makes it unfeasible.  If there is an issue with your order, contact us and we will strive to arrive at an equitable solution IF the issue happened due to transit by working with the shipping company.  Otherwise, please make sure you are ordering what you want and contact us with any questions BEFORE placing your order.

At Outcast Surf Co. we take great care and pride in packaging and shipping surfboards.

Unfortunately, during the shipping process damage does sometimes occur. Although this is rare, it does occasionally happen.

In the unlikely event that your new board arrives damaged, Outcast Surf Co. will do everything in it’s power to resolve the issue. However, the customer must adhere to a strict set of guidelines in order for their claim to be honored:

INSPECT THE CONTENTS OF THE BOX UPON DELIVERY, IF THE ITEMS ARE DETERMINED TO BE DAMAGED PLEASE:

  1. NOTIFY THE DELIVERY AGENT OF THE DAMAGE
  2. KEEP THE BOX AND ALL ITS CONTENTS
  3. EMAIL OUTCAST SURF CO. IMMEDIATELY WITH PHOTOS OF THE DAMAGE AND OF THE BOX (info@outcastsurfco.com).
  4. OUTCAST SURF CO. WILL DETERMINE WHAT OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE FOR REPAIR OR EXCHANGE
  5. CLAIMS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 5 DAYS OF DELIVERY

Options if your board arrives damaged:

For minor dings, dents, cracks or other cosmetic damage Outcast Surf Co. will pay for 100% of the repair cost or mail the customer a full repair kit at no charge if they are comfortable with fixing the damage themselves. On top of covering the repair costs we will discount the price of the board by the amount of the repair in the form of a refund.

E.G.: Your board arrives with a small ding on the bottom and the repair cost is $25, Outcast Surf Co. will pay for the full cost of the repair as well as refund the customer an additional $25 as a discount on the board since it did not arrive in the “new” condition as advertised.

For major damage such as creases, buckles, full breaks or damage that will affect the structural integrity or performance of the board we request that you contact as by phone: 949.929.6000, or email: info@outcastsurfco.com, for a return authorization and instructions.

We will schedule a “damage call tag” where the shipping courier will come to your location and pick up the damaged board. Once the damaged product is en route back to Outcast Surf Co. we can either replace it with the exact same board (if available), or if your original board is not available, use that credit for any other board or product in our inventory, or toward the cost of a custom board. (Outcast Surf Co. will cover all shipping costs associated with exchanges for damaged products)

**Outcast Surf Co. reserves the right to determine the severity of the damage and what option will be used to remedy the situation.

Skateboard Decks

Skateboard decks are sold as decks only.  Grip tape, wheels, bearing, trucks, etc. are NOT included.  If you would like to add grip to your order please contact us.  If you would like us to put the grip tape on for you- please contact us.  All Skateboard decks with grip tape installed are NON REFUNDABLE.
